Jose Cuervo Day of the Dead

Category: Brand Activation

Company: High Impact Promotions

Location: San Juan, Puerto Rico

Year: 2019

A memorable and exciting Day of the Dead party that would make Jose Cuervo the number one choice for tequila.

Upon arrival at the event, guests were taken past the entrance altar and invited to participate in authentic traditions, such as sugar skull face painting and mariachi music. Each space was themed with a different DOTD tradition, allowing guests to experience all the elements of Day of the Dead, under one roof.

There were two main celebration areas: one for the living and a second where the living could cross over and party with the dead, the secret room. Each space had its own music, decoration and cocktails.

In order to get into the secret room, consumers had to go to the bar and order a special cocktail with a glow in the dark glass that would grant them access to the “other world”.
